My husband loves anything sandalwood so when I saw that scent I jumped on it! This beard oil works wonders. It is nice and hydrating and works well. Makes his beard nice and soft, while not irritating his skin. If anything, it relieved some itchiness from how dry he gets.
I really like this The Man Brand Bay Rum Beard Oil. I like to try new options for beard supplies, but have to be careful as I have very sensitive skin. I tried this Man Brand Bay Rum Beard Oil and it’s been really a great choice. It doesn’t bother my skin, I love the smell - it works well on me - and it does help soften my beard. It’s a spray bottle, which is a first for me, but it’s as easy to use as any of my others. The scent is light, but really masculine and fresh, a new twist on things. Most importantly, my wife loves the smell. Really glad I grabbed it. Will add to my Buy Again List here on Amazon. And would be willing to try a couple of the other scents.
Very happy with this beard oil. First up it is super easy to use with the spray cap. A lot of oils have the dropper bottle, but with this one you can spray it directly on to your beard. The oil works in easily and absorbs nicely. No irritation or oily mess after use. The scent is sophisticated and very appealing in my opinion. The scent lasted all day and multiple times in the day I could smell it. The oil gave my beard a healthy sheen and and overall good look. I would definitely recommend

It’s an OK beard oil but smells absolutely nothing like Bay Rum. Has a pronounced coconut smell, like a tropical suntan lotion. Won’t be buying again.

I used the oil on my beard for a week. It did not work on my beard. It initially left my beard oily and then it became frizzy. May work for you, unfortunately it did not for me

This beard oil has an incredible smell and a leaves your beard feeling soft and relaxed throughout the day. It noisturizes the beard very well throughout the the leaving it very soft. It doesnt leave an oily residue, so fear not if your a person who likes to fisdle with your beard throughout the day.
It a gift for my son for Christmas. Bottle was smaller than I anticipated and haven’t smelled it yet but it arrived on time and the box wasn’t damaged.
The fragrance is obvious while applying the product, but it fades and this won't leave a fragrance like something like after shave does.This oil conditions well and keeps beard hair in order. It works better if sprayer in the hands and rubbed into/through the beard as needed.

I've used a LOT of beard oils, and honestly they're not all that different. Some are thicker (which I don't like), but really it's the scent and the feel that matters. OR SO I THOUGHT. I'll tell ya, using the spray was so much better than using a dropper.With the dropper, I'd always end up with oil dripping between my fingers while I got a second dropper full. With this, I can get as much as I want either onto my fingers or onto my beard with much less dripping.The scent (I got sweet tobacco) isn't overpowering. As I am not a teenage boy, I don't want to exude a scent — I want it subtle, and this does the trick.Bottom line: A fine oil with a terrific delivery system and a nice, light scent.
I have been using this oil on my beard. The oil comes in a plastic spray bottle and comes out easily. It has a strong but very pleasing smell, which doesn't linger for too long. The oil absorbs easily in the skin and hair, and after a few hours is almost vanished. My one concern is that it doesn't keep skin moisturized for long though. After a few hours I start feeling itchy in my beard and have to reapply the oil.
I've tried several oils over the years when I usually grow a thicker and longer beard over cold months. I have had some flaking in my chin area and this seems to be helping a bit more than the last oil I used. I do like how this has a spray nozzle versus other dropper types. I thought the dropper types were getting in my beard better but found 1 spray near my chin and rubbing this in seems to do just fine and helps minimize dry flaky skin.The scent I thought would be more bourbon forward. Its not really one I can smell after spraying and that's okay. I've used more fragrant oils and have enjoyed those too but I'm mainly in this for keeping my skin from flaking in the dry cold months and so far 2 weeks in with almost daily use after a shower, this is just fine. I've got some other oils to still try out but would think about buying more of this for sure. Other oils I've like the smells of or just had more of a detectable smell have cost up to $12 and not worked as well.My only advice with this sprayer is make sure you rub it in right away or avoid it dripping down on clothing. One morning I sprayed and went to immediately rub it in and before I could, a drop of oil landed on my blue wool shirt and left a wet looking mark all day I was embarrassed about however it washed out in the laundry without special treatments.

I don't have a beard but my husband does! This leave-in beard oil is fairly lightweight. It softens the beard without making it super greasy. My husband doesn't use a beard oil often, but it's nice to have for when he wants it. I recommend it.
I'm a big fan of bourbon scented beard oil. This one has a nice scent to it, although subtle. That's not a bad thing. There are times where I want a strong-smelling beard oil, and times where I don't. This one is nice for those times when I want a great smelling beard oil, but it's not too overpowering.Overall, I'm really happy with this beard oil. It's strong enough to smell good, but not too overpowering at the same time.

This is a solid beard oil that does everything I need it to. It's easy to apply and it feels light in my beard. It moisturizes my beard and keeps it looking good all day. The scent is hard to place but it's pleasant and it isn't overwhelming strong. At $9/oz, this beard oil is a great value. I also love the pump style bottle, it's great for travel.
The texture of this oil is very nice. It’s lightweight and not greasy, although it does produce a bit of a sheen when applied. The main ingredients are all very gentle and well tolerated by most people, so it should be safe to use on your beard as well as directly on the skin. Unfortunately the smell doesn’t really do it for me. While independently, I like both bergamot and cedar, I don’t find the combo here very pleasing to my olfactory sense.As for the company, it seems The Man Brand is legit. But since they don’t publish any data on things like production or manufacturing, I don’t feel super confident in their quality and integrity. However, they have enough positive reviews and a high rating from an online domain authenticity analyzer, that I can cautiously bump up their rating to a 4. I do hope they choose to offer more transparency on their products in the future; that would go a long way to helping me feel more confidence in the brand.
